What is Panchakarma?
Panchakarma is an ancient Ayurvedic detoxification and rejuvenation therapy designed to cleanse the body of toxins and restore balance to the mind, body, and spirit. The term "Panchakarma" literally means "five actions" in Sanskrit, referring to five primary procedures—Vamana (therapeutic emesis), Virechana (purgation), Basti (medicated enema), Nasya (nasal administration), and Raktamokshana (bloodletting). These treatments aim to eliminate deep-rooted toxins (known as Ama) from the body's tissues and digestive system.
Unlike temporary detoxes, Panchakarma works on a cellular level, resetting the body’s natural healing mechanisms and enhancing the function of the doshas—Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. It is typically administered under the guidance of qualified Ayurvedic practitioners after a thorough assessment of an individual’s body constitution (Prakriti) and current imbalances (Vikriti).
The Panchakarma process usually involves three stages: Purvakarma (preparatory phase), Pradhanakarma (main procedures), and Paschatkarma (post-treatment care). Along with herbal medications, special diets, massages, and lifestyle changes, the therapy promotes physical health, mental clarity, stress relief, and spiritual well-being.

Panchakarma Udvartan
Udvartan is a Panchakarma therapy using dry or herbal paste massage in an upward motion. It reduces cellulite, improves skin texture, boosts circulation, promotes weight loss, detoxifies the body, exfoliates skin, and balances Kapha, leaving you refreshed and energized.
Panchakarma Patra Potli
Patra Potli is an Ayurvedic therapy using warm herbal leaf bundles massaged over the body. It relieves muscle and joint pain, improves circulation, reduces stiffness, detoxifies tissues, and balances Vata and Kapha, promoting relaxation and overall rejuvenation.

Panchakarma Kati Basti, Janu Basti, and Greeva Basti
Kati Basti, Janu Basti, and Greeva Basti are localized Ayurvedic oil therapies for the lower back, knees, and neck. Warm medicated oil is retained over the area to relieve pain, stiffness, inflammation, and nourish deeper tissues for long-lasting relief.
Panchakarma Nasayam
Nasayam is a Panchakarma therapy involving the administration of medicated oils or herbal juices through the nostrils. It helps cleanse the nasal passages, relieve sinus congestion, headaches, migraines, and enhance mental clarity. Nasayam balances Doshas in the head and neck region.

Panchakarma Abhyangam
Abhyangam is a traditional Ayurvedic full-body massage with warm medicated oils. It improves circulation, relieves stress and muscle tension, enhances skin health, supports detoxification, and balances all three doshas—Vata, Pitta, and Kapha—for overall wellness and deep relaxation.
Panchakarma Shirodhara
Shirodhara is an Ayurvedic therapy where warm medicated oil is gently poured over the forehead in a continuous stream. It calms the mind, relieves stress, anxiety, insomnia, and headaches, while balancing the nervous system and promoting deep mental relaxation.
